MK 677- Ibutamoren

MK-677, also known as Ibutamoren, is a growth hormone secretagogue, meaning it stimulates the body to produce more growth hormone (GH) and IGF-1. Unlike anabolic steroids or SARMs, it does not directly affect testosterone levels. Instead, it works by mimicking the hormone ghrelin, which signals the brain to increase hunger and trigger GH release.

Because of this mechanism, MK-677 is often used for goals like muscle growth, improved recovery, better sleep quality, and increased appetite. Many users report deeper sleep and faster recovery, since growth hormone plays a key role in tissue repair and regeneration. It’s also sometimes associated with fat loss or body recomposition, although increased hunger can make fat loss harder if diet isn’t controlled.

The “MK-677” name refers to the compound itself, and products are usually dosed in milligrams per day (commonly around 10–25 mg), but these are not officially approved or medically established dosages.

However, MK-677 is not approved for general medical or supplement use and is often sold as a research chemical. While it doesn’t suppress testosterone like steroids, it still comes with potential side effects, including:

• Fat gain if calorie intake isn’t controlled
