HMG w/ BAC

HMG (Human Menopausal Gonadotropin) is a hormonal medication that contains a combination of FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone). These hormones play a key role in reproductive function. Medically, HMG is used in fertility treatments—helping women stimulate ovulation and men improve sperm production.

It comes with bacteriostatic water, a sterile solution used to reconstitute (mix) the powdered hormone before injection. The bacteriostatic agent helps prevent bacterial growth, allowing the solution to be used safely over a short period after mixing.

In non-medical or performance-related contexts, HMG is sometimes used alongside compounds like Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) to support or restore natural testosterone production and fertility, especially when hormone levels have been suppressed. It works more directly on sperm production than HCG alone because it provides both FSH and LH activity.

However, HMG is a prescription medication and should only be used under medical supervision. Misuse can lead to hormonal imbalance and other complications.

Possible side effects include:

• Hormone fluctuations (mood changes, fatigue)
• Gynecomastia (in men, due to hormonal shifts)
• Injection site irritation
• Risk of overstimulation (especially in women undergoing fertility treatment)
